The Plan B is not slowing the number of abortions in Sweden

Even though Plan B – the «morning-after» pill – was introduced in Sweden 12 years ago, the number of abortions has increased in that country.

The Swedish Association of Midwives says the organization was surprised and saddened to see abortions rise from 18.4 per 1,000 women in 1997 to 20.9 per 1,000 women last year, United Press International reported.

Brian Clowes of Human Life International says people express shock when they depart from scripture and see the results.

«They’re always shocked when they pick the easier wrong instead of the harder right,» says Clowes.
